How does it all start?
It all starts with a germ of an idea that you have about your garden, the way you want it to look and how you would like it to fit into your lifestyle?
You are likely to have some pre-conceptions and might have been inspired by other gardens that have previously impressed you.
Developing a brief
On the first meeting we will discuss every aspect of your requirement and formulate an outline brief on which to base our provisional estimate.
You may have a good idea of what you require or you may wish to take advantage of our experience. We are happy to provide suggestions as to the best approach to your ideal garden solution providing ideas on a likely format, layout and possible materials to achieve your objectives.
Once we have taken a brief from you, we will take some outline measurements of your garden and start to design your dream garden.
Garden design, estimating and planning your project
We will put together an estimate based on our discussion and if you are satisfied with the costing, we will draft some sketches as to how the garden may look and discuss the options on the type of materials that could be used in developing your garden design.
Once we have agreed on the garden design and the materials, we will provide a schedule of works so that you are aware of what will be happening and when.
Before we commence work, we like to agree all our costs so that there are no hidden surprises later on – unless of course you change the specification, in which case, we will let you know of any additional costs. Payments are made on a staged basis.
The build itself
We use only quality materials and we work in a methodical and tidy manner, so you will be able to see your new garden evolve on a day-by-day basis. We tidy up after a days work and try to make things as easy as possible for you and not disrupt your routine too much.
Usually there is a period of site preparation where the ground is dug out and footings prepared. This is followed by the structural building work involving walls, fences, patios and any work on your drive.
Plants, shrubs and lawn are invariably the last aspect to be incorporated.
Keeping you in the picture
There will be regular site meetings and updates so that you are kept informed as to exactly what is going on with the project and how long different stages are likely to take.
As the job comes to an end you will take pleasure in seeing the plants and shrubs planted and a refreshed garden spring to life!

Developing a new garden is an exciting adventure but can be arduous. Our job is not only to make your garden a beautiful place to enjoy your leisure time, but to take as much upheaval out of the process as possible and to make it an enjoyable experience for you.
We believe that gardens should be places of recreation and relaxation, creating additional living space to your home and giving endless days of pleasure and enjoyment to both friends and family.
